Meet me

Randye S Spina, MBA, Founder

A Native Noo Yawka, I have a BS in Marketing from Pace University and an MBA from the University of Dallas.

As a dyed in the wool generalist, with decades of varied marketing, communications, writing, and training, I bring a wealth of experience to my clients.

After a successful corporate career culminating as VP Marketing & Product Development, I followed my heart and evolved into consulting, wrote a book on small business marketing, began creating and leading workshops, and started a career in higher education becoming an award-winning marketing and communications professor.

I’m a two-time nonprofit board member and a lover of the arts and all things creative. I’ve worked with 100s of small businesses across the nation in industries as diverse as aviation to yoga. And, I was co-owner of a retail store that successfully competed with the likes of Mail Boxes Etc. and the UPS Store and earned a profit in year one.

Shortly after graduate school, I was recruited for a Product Manager position where I launched a first of its kind credit card product that earned an Echo Award nomination. Then, I relocated to Southern California to be the first General Manager position of a global travel startup’s credit card division in Southern California. I was then recruited into another startup as VP for a financial services company. When they were sold, I used the opportunity to return home to the East Coast when I was offered a Director’s position in Connecticut.

It was there that I began my evolution out of corporate and started my first small business marketing agency, became a first-time author and a writer for several publications (and started my own, Mktg Zen), and a small business trainer and speaker, and marketing and communications professor, then….

Three years ago, I sold my condo and my car and moved to Philadelphia where I didn’t know anyone but was craving a whole new life and I’m loving every second of it. (I highly recommend shaking up your life now and again with new experiences.)

LolaBelle, Chief Kitten Officer

I’m responsible for many important tasks such as lying on the keyboard and keeping empty chairs warm. Then eating treats and cat-napping. I also have to Zoom-bomb meetings and meow at the printer. Read my story on the lifestyle blog, Pets at Work.
